Shelton State Workforce Development to Offer Fall ACT Prep

June 30, 2026 – Shelton State Community College (SSCC) Workforce Development will offer seven-week ACT preparation courses on the Martin Campus. Two course options are available as listed below. All sessions will be held from 4:15 p.m. until 6:15 p.m. in room 1913, and attendance is required for all dates listed in a selected course.

In the course, students will learn how each section of the ACT is designed so they can approach that section with an effective strategy. They will then individually use these concepts on a practice test and participate in discussion about the questions. This practice and refining process will sharpen the student’s thinking skills for the test.

The cost of the course is $350. Because space is limited to twelve students, early registration is encouraged.
