Shelton State Athletics Announces NIL Partnership with Influxer

November 19, 2025 – The Shelton State Community College Athletics Department (SSCC) is proud to announce a new Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) Partnership with Influxer, a leading NIL company providing personalized merchandise opportunities for student-athletes across the nation.

The new partnership will enable Shelton State’s student-athletes to create and sell their own lines of personalized merchandise. With more than 150 student-athletes representing the College’s 13 competitive SSCC sports, partnering with Influxer provides revenue-generating potential. “The Buccaneers are excited about this opportunity to partner with Influxer, and we are grateful that our student-athletes will not only generate money for themselves but also promote the College and the Athletics Department across the country,” said Cara Crosslin, SSCC Athletics Director.

Influxer’s unique NIL program offers a straightforward, flat-rate pay structure, allowing athletes to know exactly what they earn from every item sold. There are no hidden percentages or surprises, ensuring full transparency for all participating athletes. The partnership is also non-exclusive, giving SSCC student-athletes the flexibility to take advantage of this opportunity while continuing to pursue other NIL deals or endorsements. Influxer is licensed with over 500 institutions across the nation, including several other schools in the Alabama Community College Conference.

The Shelton State Community College Athletics Department has spent the past decade establishing a winning tradition and bringing home championship trophies. Our teams have won 29 NJCAA Region XXII Division I titles in men’s and women’s basketball and baseball, 14 National Championships in competitive cheerleading, an Esports National Championship, a women’s Golf National Championship, an Alabama Community College Conference Championship and a JUCO World Series appearance in Baseball, and received recognition as the Academic Team of the Year for softball. The College established a women’s Flag Football team in 2025.
