Ambulance Operator

This comprehensive course is designed to prepare participants for a rewarding career as an ambulance operator (AO). AOs serve a critical function as part of an emergency medical services (EMS) team. Whether you’re new to this role or seeking to enhance your expertise, this training will equip you with the foundational principles necessary for success in this critical role.

 

Throughout the course, you’ll cover essential topics such as Basic Life Support (BLS), scene and patient assessment techniques, airway management, trauma response, and handling hazardous materials. Additionally, you’ll learn about special patient populations, incident command systems, and ambulance operation procedures. You will also receive hands-on training in driving the ambulance, where you will develop competencies in emergency vehicle operation, navigating through traffic, maneuvering in tight spaces, and ensuring patient safety during transit.

 

No prior experience is required, and upon successful completion, you’ll be well-prepared to serve as an Ambulance Operator, contributing to the health and safety of your community.
