Meet the Deans
Interim Dean of Academic Services
Ms. Pamela Dobbins was selected as Interim Dean of Academic Services
at Shelton State in the fall of 2013.
The Academic Services area coordinates the efforts of several instructional areas, including:
Allied Health and Nursing
Business and Computer Science
Humanities and Communication Arts
Academic Services also works in close partnership with the SOAR Institute, the Technical Services group, the orientation classes, and the Faculty Resource Center. Students planning to earn an Associate of Arts degree or an Associate of Science degree, as well as any students in the
Allied Health areas, should come to the Academic Services office located on the 3rd floor if they need guidance or assistance in any of the areas listed above.
Dean of Technical Services
Mr. Steve Fair has served as Dean of Technical Services at Shelton State Community College since January 2010. During his tenure of more than twenty years at the College, he has held a variety of positions in Instructional Services, Business and Industry Training, and Administrative Services. His academic background includes an associate degree in Machine Tool Technology, an undergraduate major in Vocational Education, and a master's degree in Management.

The Technical Services Division works in close partnership with all other areas and divisions at the College, in an effort to provide the highest level of support to students, faculty, staff, and the greater community served.
