Cooking 101 Basics 

Description: 

Students will enjoy learning techniques for basic dishes ranging from breakfast to dinner and comparing from scratch to convenience foods. We’ll get hands-on and cover all the basics such as rules for handling knives, how to read and follow recipes, measuring and mixing, and the importance of kitchen safety. Kids will build on skills throughout the week and will culminate with a cook-off on the last day of camp.

General Information:
  • Classes with less than 8 registered students one week prior to start date will be cancelled.  Students will be notified via phone and email.
  • Students MAY NOT be dropped off before the official drop-off time.
  • A parent/guardian must remain with each student until the instructor is ready to start the class at the official start time.
  • Parents/Guardians should sign in and sign out his/her student each day.
