Mission Statement

The mission of Shelton State’s Testing and Assessment Services division is to provide opportunities for students to meet their educational goals by offering assessments for course placement, program acceptance and/or college admittance and offer other exam services in an environment conducive to productive testing.  Testing center staff consistently strives to adhere not only to the mission of the college, but also to the highest professional standards and guidelines set forth by the National College Testing Association (NCTA).
