Following an executive order from Governor Kay Ivey declaring Monday, July 3, 2017, a holiday for state employees, Shelton State Community College will be closed on Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4.

Normal hours of operation will resume on Wednesday, July 5, 2017.

Tuscaloosa, Alabama – Commencement exercises for Shelton State Community College were held on Thursday, May 4 at the Martin Campus. Interim President Cynthia T. Anthony, Ed. D., presided over the ceremony. Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox delivered the commencement address.
