1. How many hours of music classes do I have to take to be a recipient of a Fine Arts Scholarship?
   A student must be full time or enrolled in 12 hours.
    
2. Will my courses at Shelton transfer to the UA or any other college I want to attend?
   Students should consult the STARS guideline on transferring courses. Previous students have transferred to various state universities.
     

3. What type of degree will I receive at Shelton State if I choose music as a major field of study?
   A student in the Fine Arts may choose to get an Associate in Arts degree.
    

4. Are my textbooks covered in a Fine Arts Scholarship?
   No, scholarships are tuition waivers only.
    

5. Do you have to be pursuing a degree with an emphasis in music to receive a Fine Arts Scholarship in music?
   No, scholarships for Shelton Singers and Shelton State Jazz Ensemble are awarded to talented students with choral and band experience.
