Clock Hour Conversion Programs

NEW UPDATES FOR SPRING 2012- Please review your program

If you are enrolled in a clock hour conversion program, please note the following information:

Federal Regulations requires that we pay Pell Grant based on the clock hours not academic credit hours.  This means that financial aid cannot pay full credit for some of the courses associated with your Program of Study.  You are encouraged to apply for scholarships as early as possible.

Clock Hour Program - a program that is paid based on the number of actual hours the student attends class

Cosmetology Certificate Program - please contact Amanda Harbison in the financial aid office or by email at aharbison@sheltonstate.edu for information on this payment process
