Theatre Tuscaloosa to Hold Auditions January 5 & 6

TUSCALOOSA, AL – Theatre Tuscaloosa will hold open auditions for Cabaret on Friday, January 5 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 6 at 2:00 p.m. in the Wilson Carr Rehearsal Hall, located off the lobby of the Bean-Brown Theatre on the Martin Campus of Shelton State Community College (9500 Old Greensboro Rd).

Holiday Fundraisers Extended

Tuscaloosa, Alabama – Shelton State Community College (SSCC) student organizations have extended deadlines for two fundraising projects. The seventh annual Here Comes Santa Claus project concludes December 12, and the Secret Meals project will continue through 2018.

Fall 2017 Commencement Events

Tuscaloosa, Alabama – Shelton State Community College will host commencement events on Thursday, December 14, and Friday, December 15. Both events will be held in the Martin Campus Gymnasium.

Diabetes Walk Raises Awareness and Funding

Tuscaloosa, Alabama – The Shelton State Community College (SSCC) Association of Nursing Students (SSANS) hosted a campus-wide Diabetes Walk on World Diabetes Day, November 14. Held on the Martin Campus, the walk raised both disease awareness and money for Tuscaloosa’s Good Samaritan Clinic.

Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Sing-Along

Tuscaloosa, Alabama – Shelton State Community College’s Terrific Tuesday Concert Series will host the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting event on Tuesday, November 28 at 1:00 p.m. in the Martin Campus Atrium. Admission is free and open to the public.

Theatre Tuscaloosa to Represent Alabama at SETC

TUSCALOOSA, AL – Theatre Tuscaloosa will be taking its production of The End of a Line by Robert Hawkins to the Saenger Theatre in Mobile, Alabama, to compete in the Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC) Community Theatre Festival March 7-10, 2018.
