Visit Us
Shelton State encourages all prospective students and their families to come to the campus and learn more about Shelton State. One of the best ways to find out is to view our institution and discover the endless opportunities on our beautiful state of the art campus. We offer tours on regular class days to provide insight into everyday campus life and to give visitors the opportunity to take advantage of many campus resources. The tour will generally take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your individual need and interaction. The tour will be conducted by our Student Ambassadors. The Ambassadors are students who will provide you with a student's perspective of Shelton State. Our goal is to help you plan a visit that will meet your needs. The tours may include but are not limited to:
- appointment with a Academic Advisor or Recruiter
- discuss application process
- meetings with academic or technical faculty, athletics, and other departments (all meetings must be arranged by student before arriving to campus)
- discuss financial aid options
To schedule a campus visit, please notify us a week in advance before you would like to visit to allow us to better accommodate your visit. We accommodate walk-in visitors to the best of our ability; however, we cannot guarantee that all appointments and special requests will be met unless the visit is scheduled in advance.
Regular scheduled tours are only on Mondays promply at 11:00 a.m. and Thursdays promptly at 2:00 p.m. and we require prior notification for large groups. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time to avoid any cancellation of tour due to late arrival. Unfortunately, Friday tours are not available.
Tours are unavailable on the following date(s): (Starting May 9th, the Atrium will be closed due to construction. Please use the East entrance for campus visits. Campus visits originate from Counseling Center)
