The Career Services Center of Shelton State Community College is a center whose primary mission is to give all students and alumni the opportunity and guidance to explore and choose their career paths and to prepare them for the workforce through training and well developed job search skills.

Students are encouraged to explore career options and create a career action plan. The Focus 2 assessment is used to increase self understanding and help match students with careers.
Preparation includes resume/cover letter critiques and mock interviews. Career and etiquette advising are also available as well as opportunities to network and attend career fairs.
