Financial Aid & Scholarships

The primary purpose of student financial assistance programs at Shelton State Community College is
 to assist students with meeting the cost of their education.

  • All students are encouraged to apply. Eligibility for grants is based on financial need. Financial
    aid is designed to supplement the family's ability to finance the student's educational expenses.

  • Notification
    Electronic Notification
    All correspondence regarding financial aid is communicated to the student electronically.
    Students are encouraged to upgrade or activate their BUCS email account as soon as they
    are admitted to Shelton State. Students can view a variety of information via BUCS email including incomplete Pell or Admission’s file, financial aid status, financial aid probation and suspension.
