The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) is the Federal Government’s response to the country’s recent economic crisis. This ACT is also known as the Stimulus Bill, as it is an effort to stimulate the American economy. As part of the ARRA, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is responsible for ensuring greater financial transparency.
