Shelton State Community College offers competitive scholarships to qualified students who are residents of the state of Alabama
. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee a scholarship award. Scholarships are awarded based on availability of funds. Only completed scholarship applications with the required information attached will be considered.
Alabama State Board of Education policy requires that scholarship recipients be U.S. citizens or resident aliens who meet institutional requirements. Every applicant is required to submit an application for admission to the College and is encouraged to apply for federal financial aid. Application must be made for the academic year(s) in which the award will be provided. Application for financial aid may be made online at www.FAFSA.ed.gov

All applicants will be notified via email of their award status no later than May 25, 2015.
