The U.S. Department of Education began sending Personal Identification Number (PIN) reminders to email addresses provided on the 2012-2013 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on January 13. The PIN is required to renew your FAFSA online for the 2013-2014 academic year. If you did not provide a valid email address, your PIN will be mailed to the address you provided on your 2012-2013 FAFSA. To apply for a PIN or request a duplicate PIN, please go to: http://www.pin.ed.gov/.

Your PIN is important for making the application process easier now and in the future. Shelton State Community College does not issue the PIN; therefore, the school will not have access to your PIN. Please make sure that you keep your PIN in a safe place.
