 Jerrell Bowden (Scene Shop Foreman) is a UA theatre graduate. He was technical director for You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown with Summertide Musical Theatre and Irma Vep at UA. Acting credits include A Lesson Before Dying, To Kill a Mockingbird, Peter Pan, Pericles, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream with the Rude Mechanicals. Sound design credits include Driving Miss Daisy, Greater Tuna, Christmas Belles, The Sound of Music, The Foreigner, and A Little Night Music. |

Joined Theatre Tuscaloosa in 1997 as the Director of Educational
Outreach and has subsequently served as Artistic Director. Now Chair of
the Shelton State Theatre Department, Michael directs and teaches
theatre appreciation, acting, and voice. |
Erin Hisey (Adjunct Instructor)

MFA in Scenography(scenic, lighting and costume design) from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro
Erin is happy to once again be a part of the Shelton State Community College Theatre Department having previously held the position of Technical Director for Theatre Tuscaloosa. In addition to teaching technical theatre courses at Shelton, Erin works as a freelance designer at theatres and schools throughout the Southeast and as a an exhibit specialist for the Tuscaloosa Children’s Hands-On Museum. Recent design credits include lighting for productions at Theatre Tuscaloosa, Birmingham Children’s Theatre, Magic City Actors Theatre, North Greenvillle University, Millsaps College, and the Alabama School of Fine Arts. She has been a part of the Theatre Tuscaloosa family for more than 30 years and worked with them as an actor, crew member, stage manager, technical director, teacher, and designer.

 Wheeler Kincaid
(Technical Director) is happy to be returning to the Theatre Tuscaloosa
family after spending the last three years working as a designer,
manager, and technical director in New York City. Off-Broadway credits
include The Flying Karamazov Brothers, Freud’s Last Session, Oliver Parker, and Martha Clark’s Garden of Earthly Delights.
He also worked with the 2009 New York Musical Theatre Festival, Chamber
Music Society of Lincoln Center, the Juilliard School, and as assistant
technical director for Theatre Row Studios on 42nd Street. In NYC,
Wheeler created designs for Access Theatre, Looking Glass Theatre, Wings
Theatre, Stella Adler Studios, and the Rastro Dance Company. He also
created designs for Red Mountain Theatre in Birmingham and Theatre
Tuscaloosa—most recently the scenic design for It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play and the scenic and lighting designs for Driving Miss Daisy and Doubt: A Parable.
A native of Tuscaloosa, Wheeler received a B.A. in theatre from The
University of Alabama after studying at Shelton State under the tutelage
of Charlie Dennis.

 Adam M. Miller
(Managing Director, Adjunct Instructor) With more than nine years of
experience in non-profit marketing, Adam has dedicated himself to
raising the profile and profitability of arts organizations and higher
education organizations alike. Most recently, Adam has served as a
marketing manager for Academic Outreach in The University of Alabama’s
College of Continuing Studies. Past positions include coordinator of the
Campus Violence Project for the UA Women’s Resource Center, director of
marketing and PR for the Louisiana State University Department of
Theatre/Swine Palace Productions, management intern at the Alabama
Shakespeare Festival, and marketing coordinator for the Bijou Theatre
Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Adam holds an M.F.A. in theatre
management/arts administration from The University of Alabama.

 Stacy Panitch (Adjunct Instructor)
BFA in Directing from Northern Kentucky University
MFA in Acting Pedagogy from The University of Alabama
Has been acting professionally on stages throughout the United States
for the past 15 years. Stacy has been in several documentaries
regarding current approaches to teaching acting and theatre. She
continues to offer master classes and teach courses in several acting
and movement techniques including Stanislavski, Meisner, Commedia dell
Arte, Theatre of the Oppressed. Laban, Improvisation, and Musical
Interpretation. Stacy has been seen in Theatre Tuscaloosa’s productions
of Doubt, Moonlight and Magnolias, and most recently, The Miracle Worker.

 Tina F. Turley
(Executive Producer, Adjunct Instructor) has a diverse background in
the arts. She has over 25 years of experience as a director, actor,
writer, teacher, and theatre manager. Before taking her current position
in 2006, she served as ticket office supervisor and Second Stage
coordinator for Theatre Tuscaloosa from 1997 to 1999. A teacher at
heart, Tina has served as interim faculty for UA in both acting and
theatre management. She has also served on the faculties of Mountain
View College’s Professional Actors Musical Theatre Conservatory in
Dallas, Stillman College, and Shelton State. Before moving to
Tuscaloosa, she lived in Dallas and worked as volunteer coordinator for
Theatre Three, assistant to the public relations director of the Meadows
School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University, volunteer
coordinator for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, personnel director for
Dillard’s, managing director for the McKinney Avenue Contemporary, and
managing director for the critically acclaimed Kitchen Dog Theater
Company. Her recent directing credits include Christmas Belles, The Sound of Music, Doubt: A Parable, Miscast, Moonlight and Magnolias, Dearly Departed, and A Lesson Before Dying among others.

 Jeanette Waterman (Resident
Costumer) walked in to Theatre Tuscaloosa over 10 years ago and never
left. She still can’t believe that she is lucky enough to get paid for
playing dress up. Jeanette is a native of Mobile who studied Clothing
and Textile Design at The University of Alabama |
