The primary purpose of student financial assistance programs at Shelton State Community College is to assist students with meeting the cost of their education.  Shelton State does not participate in any student loan programs.  We only participate in federal grant programs.

All students are encouraged to apply. Eligibility for grants is based on financial need. Financial aid is designed to supplement the family's ability to finance the student's educational expenses.
