MTH Prerequisite Requirements

MATH 090

A score of less than 39 on the numerical skills (NS) component of the ASSET test OR,
A score of less than 36 Pre-Algebra portion of COMPASS

MATH 098

A score of at least 39 on the numerical skills (NS) component of the ASSET test OR,
A score of 36 – 100 on the Pre-Algebra portion of COMPASS or a score of 0 – 23 on the Algebra portion of COMPASS, OR
A grade of S in MTH 090.

MATH 100

An ASSET score of 39 or higher in Numerical Skills and 39 or higher in Elementary Algebra, 27 or higher in Intermediate Algebra, or 26 or higher in College Algebra, OR
COMPASS score of 24 or higher in the Algebra portion, OR
S in MTH 098, OR
CT score of 20 or higher on the Math portion
Letter of Transience with specific semester and course listed

MATH 112

ASSET score of 39 or higher in Numerical Skills and 46 or higher in Intermediate Algebra or 31 or higher in College Algebra, OR
COMPASS score of 51 or higher on the Algebra portion or 0 - 45 on the College Algebra portion, OR
C or higher in MTH 100, OR
ACT score of 20 or higher and ASSET score of 46 or higher in Intermediate Algebra or 31 or higher in College Algebra, OR
